1. Scope
This notice explains cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies used by the Called It app, calledit.deals, and the Called It Shopify storefront. The Privacy Policy explains the broader handling of personal information.
2. Categories
- Essential and security: authentication, session continuity, cart/checkout, fraud prevention, load balancing, privacy preferences, and core service operation. Disabling them may prevent requested features from working.
- Functional: preferences, remembered settings, media state, and optional convenience features.
- Analytics and performance: aggregated or device-level measurements used to understand errors, performance, permitted public attribution, and feature use. These are not used to link a particular Called It user or device with third-party data for cross-app or cross-site targeted advertising.
- Advertising and affiliate measurement: campaign attribution or conversion measurement where enabled with the required notice and privacy choices. Advertising pixels are currently disabled.
Supabase supports account and service records; Expo and Apple support app updates and notifications; Apple supports Premium entitlement and billing status directly; RevenueCat may retain historical prelaunch test records; Duffel supports flight search, PCI-scoped card entry, booking, and Travel Help and uses Evervault for card-data security; Tremendous and the applicable retailer or issuer support Dutch Release retailer-credit delivery; and Shopify and payment providers support storefront, cart, checkout, fraud, payment, account, and order services. Hotel and stay search or booking is not available in this release. These functional providers may use SDKs, local storage, identifiers, or similar technologies needed for their services under their notices. External Amazon/eBay destinations apply their own technologies after you leave Called It.
3. Current choices
Called It does not require advertising cookies to browse public deal pages or use essential shopping or travel functions. Meta, TikTok, and comparable advertising pixels are disabled. The public app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not include a tracking domain. If an advertising or tracking practice is activated later, we will update this notice, the app privacy answers, and the required consent or opt-out controls before using it.
You may control nonessential technologies through available privacy settings and browser/device controls. Blocking technologies can affect remembered preferences, media, attribution, or other optional features.
4. Global Privacy Control and opt-outs
Where applicable law requires it, we treat a recognized Global Privacy Control or other recognized universal opt-out mechanism as a request to opt out of covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing for that browser/device. California and Colorado publish official GPC/universal opt-out guidance for covered businesses.
Because there is no universally accepted meaning for the older Do Not Track header, we do not treat it as a substitute for a legally recognized opt-out signal. We may nevertheless use it as a conservative signal to suppress optional measurement where technically supported.
5. Retention and updates
Session technologies expire when the session ends or within a short operational period. Persistent technologies remain only as long as needed for their stated function, security, legal record, or configured expiration. We maintain provider-specific retention details for technologies used by Called It.
