1. What a Dutch Release is
A Dutch Release is a benefit for eligible paid Premium members. Called It features a product available from an independent retailer and publishes a schedule under which the amount of retailer credit available to claim increases at stated times. The first eligible member whose valid claim is confirmed by Called It's server receives the retailer credit displayed at that time.
A Dutch Release is not a contest, sweepstakes, drawing, raffle, wager, or promotional game. Chance does not decide who receives the credit. There is no separate entry fee, bid, stake, deposit, or product purchase from Called It.
2. Paid Premium eligibility
To claim, you must have a Called It account in good standing and a paid Premium subscription that was active when the release opened. A free trial does not qualify for a Dutch retailer credit. Starting Premium, converting from a free trial, or restoring a paid subscription after a release opens makes you eligible for future releases, not the release already in progress.
Called It records the eligible paid-member group when the release opens. Canceling Premium after a valid claim does not cancel retailer credit already issued, although cancellation governs future subscription access under the Premium terms.
3. The featured product
Each release identifies one featured product, an independent retailer, a verified retailer price, the time that price was checked, and a direct link to the retailer. The product shows one practical way the retailer credit could be used. It is not reserved for a member, held by Called It, or sold by Called It.
Product price, availability, tax, shipping, delivery, returns, warranty, and other checkout terms may change. The retailer controls those matters and the final transaction. Review the retailer's current product page and checkout terms before buying.
The featured product link is not an affiliate link. Called It does not receive an affiliate commission from the featured link or from a member's use of the retailer credit.
4. The credit schedule
Before a release opens, Called It fixes the opening time, closing time, every credit amount, and the time each amount becomes available. The app shows the credit available now, the next credit and its time, and the maximum credit.
Every credit step is discrete. The maximum is the lower of:
- 50% of the verified featured-product price, rounded down to the nearest cent; or
- 49,999 cents ($499.99).
Called It will not raise, lower, insert, remove, or reorder an approved credit step after the release opens. Called It may stop a release before it opens. After opening, Called It may void a release only where required by law, where a material error made the published release invalid, or where a system failure prevents a fair and reliable claim. A committed valid claim is not erased merely because fulfillment is delayed.
5. How to claim
During an open release, an eligible member may select the displayed claim action and confirm the exact retailer and credit amount. Called It's server clock and records control.
The first valid claim committed by the server receives the displayed retailer credit. A device clock, animation, notification-delivery time, or screen refresh does not decide the result. One account may make no more than one effective claim in a release. Automated claims, multiple accounts, shared accounts, modified clients, emulators, and attempts to interfere with another member are prohibited.
When a claim is committed, the release changes to Claimed for all members. Other members may see that the release was claimed and the final credit amount, but not the claimant's identity.
6. The retailer credit
Called It issues the claimant retailer credit for the exact retailer and face value confirmed in the app. The credit is delivered through a retailer-card fulfillment provider and is governed by the retailer's and issuer's redemption terms displayed with the credit.
The credit is not restricted to the featured product. The member may use it wherever the named retailer accepts it and for any eligible purchase the retailer permits. Called It does not control the retailer's excluded products, locations, channels, cash-redemption rules, expiration treatment, or other card terms.
Called It is responsible for issuing the promised retailer and face value. If provider delivery is delayed, the app may show that the credit is being prepared while Called It safely retries or reconciles the same issuance. A delay does not reopen the release or authorize a second credit. If the approved provider cannot complete delivery, Called It may fulfill the same retailer and face value through another lawful channel.
Once issued, retailer credit generally cannot be canceled, exchanged, transferred through Called It, or replaced with cash except where applicable law requires otherwise. The member is responsible for safeguarding the delivered reward link, card number, and PIN.
7. If nobody claims
If no eligible member claims before the release closes, the release and its displayed pricing disappear. The featured product does not become a Called It listing, a public sale, a floor-price offer, or a later purchase opportunity through the release.
8. Notifications
Members may choose Dutch Release push notifications. A notification is a convenience and does not open the release, set its clock, reserve credit, establish eligibility, or guarantee delivery before another member claims. Members may disable these notifications in Called It Account settings or device settings.
9. Errors, fraud, and account action
Called It may reject an invalid request or suspend an account for automation, duplicate accounts, identity or entitlement manipulation, device-integrity circumvention, provider abuse, or another material violation of these Terms. A fraud review does not permit Called It to issue a different retailer or lower amount than the valid committed claim.
If the app displayed a release that could not lawfully or technically be offered, Called It may remove it before a claim. If a valid claim was committed but the credit was not correctly issued, contact Called It so the promised retailer and face value can be completed or another remedy required by law can be provided.
10. Retailers and providers
The featured retailer and the card-fulfillment provider are not sponsors of Called It or a Dutch Release unless the release expressly says otherwise. Their names and marks identify the retailer whose credit is issued and the destination where a member may choose to shop.
11. Changes
Called It may update these Terms prospectively. A change does not alter a release that has already opened or a valid claim already committed. The current version and effective date appear on this page.
